Meeting with Nomad Dance Academy

As a result of a visit to Stockholm by the members of Nomad Dance Academy – a network of dance practitioners and cultural workers in the Balkan region – Anders and Johan from Hybris Konstproduktion was, together with Emma Kim Hagdahl from Inpex, invited to a five day meeting in Skopje, Macedonia.

The meeting aimed to learn more about the respective organizations, our different activities, approaches and strategies, especially regarding artists interventions in cultural political processes. Second aim of the meeting was to identify possible future reasons and opportunities for collaboration. Hybris Konstproduktion and Inpex also held a public presentation and met with the working group for cultural policy from Deschooling Classroom.

In this report, we briefly bring up the different topics that we discussed during the meeting, strategies for collaboration as well as thoughts on artistic exchange withing the frame of foreign policy.
